Wynyard (provincial electoral district)

Wynyard is a former provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. The district was created before the 3rd Saskatchewan general election in 1912 as "Quill Plains". Renamed "Wynyard" in 1917, the constituency was abolished before the 8th Saskatchewan general election in 1934. It is now part of the Arm River-Watrous and Kelvington-Wadena constituencies.

Mozart, Saskatchewan

Mozart is a hamlet south of the Quill Lakes in Saskatchewan, Canada, within Elfros RM 307. It was founded in 1909 and named after the Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The streets are also named after other famous classical composers. The community held the status of designated place in the Canada 2006 Census, in which it had a population of 34. In the town's name, the z has its normal English sound, rather than the German [ts ts] used in the composer's name.

East Central, Saskatchewan

East Central, Saskatchewan is a geographic region consisting of parkland, prairie, rolling hills and forest. Settled by English, French, Germans, Hungarians, Icelanders, Poles and Ukrainians in the late 19th century and early 20th century, makes this area very culturally diverse. Predating European settlement were the First Nation peoples; the Cree and Saulteaux. The city of Yorkton is the largest centre in the region which is located on the Yellowhead highway.
