Playa Luna

Playa Luna (english Moon Beach) is the name popularly known Horcon's nude beach. This is the only nude beach that exists in Chile. It is located in the Valparaiso Region, in the commune of Puchuncaví, near the town of Horcon and very close Maitencillo Resort. Access is via the south coastal road leading from Viña del Mar and Concon, on the north by Route from Papudo and Zapallar and on the east from Route CH-5 North via Nogales.

2012 Valparaíso earthquake

The 2012 Valparaíso earthquake was an earthquake that occurred on April 16 at 11:50 pm local time. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake measured 6.7 in the moment magnitude scale, but no significant damage to public or private property occurred as a result. An elderly man experienced a fatal heart attack, and this was the only human casualty.

Aconcagua River

The Aconcagua River is a river in Chile that rises from the joint of two minor tributary rivers at 1,430 metres above sea level in the Andes, Juncal River from the east (which rise in the Nevado Juncal) and Blanco River from the south east. Aconcagua river flows westward through a broad valley, the Valle del Aconcagua (Aconcagua's Valley), and enters the Pacific Ocean 20 kilometres north of Valparaíso.

Estadio Municipal Lucio Fariña Fernández

Estadio Municipal Lucio Fariña Fernández is a multi-use stadium in Quillota, Chile. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of San Luis Quillota of the Primera División de Chile. The stadium holds 7,500 spectators. The stadium was opened on September 15, 2010 in a San Luis Quillota against Universidad de Concepcion Match which ended in a final 1-0 for the home team.
