Casa de Isla Negra

Casa de Isla Negra was one of Pablo Neruda's three houses in Chile. It is located at Isla Negra, El Quisco, San Antonio Province, Valparaíso Region about 85 km to the south of Valparaíso and 110 km to the west of Santiago. It was his favorite house and where he and his third wife, Matilde Urrutia spent the majority of their time in Chile. Neruda, a lover of the sea and all things maritime, built the home to resemble a ship with low ceilings, creaking wood floors, and narrow passageways.

San Alfonso del Mar

San Alfonso del Mar is a private resort in Algarrobo, Chile, about 100 km west of the capital Santiago. The resort is recognised as having the world's largest swimming pool. The pool is 1 km long, covering 8 ha, containing some 250,000,000 litres of seawater, with a maximum depth of 35 m . It uses water pumped, filtered, and treated from the Pacific Ocean.

Maipo River

Maipo River is the main river flowing through the Santiago Metropolitan Region of Chile. It is located just south of capital Santiago. Its headwaters are on the west slope of Maipo volcano, in the Andes. Its most famous tributary is the Mapocho River. The Maipo River is by far the major source of irrigation and potable water for the region.

Llolleo

Llolleo, also called Llo-Lleo, is a town in the commune of San Antonio, V Region of Valparaiso, Chile. It is located 98 km from Santiago de Chile and 4 km from the port of San Antonio. It is demarcated in the south by the mouth of the Maipo River (which separates it from the Rocas de Santo Domingo), the Llolleo area is called "La Boca" or "historic cove," where you draw different seafood and fish on a small scale .
