Nanyi Lake is a freshwater lake in China, it is situated in south of Anhui Province, between Xuanzhou District and Langxi County. The area of the watershed is 3368.7 km, with an elevation of 9.38 m, its length makes 26 km and the greatest breadth from east to west is 8.4 km (the average breadth makes 5.7 km). Base 603
Guangde Rocket Launch Site also known as Base 603 (603基地) is a suborbital launch site that was operated by the Chinese Academy of Sciences located in Shijiedu (誓节渡), Shijie Town (誓节镇), Guangde County, Xuancheng Prefecture, Anhui province on the Chinese east coast. The location of the site was surrounded by mountains in four directions, with no roads and no access to resources, but chosen as an upgrade to the too limited facilities of Nanhui Launch Site.
