The Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Ground is one of 9 temporary venues used for the 2008 Summer Olympics. It was located in Chaoyang Park in Beijing. The ground was used for the beach volleyball matches. The venue had a capacity of 12,000, consisting of 1 competition ground, 2 warmup grounds, and 6 training grounds. Court 2 was used on Day 6 of competition.

Beijing Chaoyang Park

Beijing Chaoyang Park is a park located on the site of the former Prince's Palace in Beijing's Chaoyang District. The park's construction began in 1984 with it eventually growing to become Beijing's largest park. It is approximately 2.8 km in length and approximately 1.5 km in width. It has a total area of 288.7 hectares, and a water surface area of 68.2 hectares. The majority of land in the park is used as green space.

Dashanzi

Dashanzi is a 1 square kilometer area in the Chaoyang district of Beijing, northeast of the city center. It lies along the Airport Expressway between the 4th and 5th Ring Roads, south of the Dashanzi Qiao flyover (大山子桥) and opposite Wangjing. Most of the area is made up of an industrial park. One of its most notable features is the Dashanzi Art District also known as the 798 Art Zone, one of the most cosmopolitan areas of Beijing.

Liuzhou Sports Centre

Chaoyang Sports Centre

Chaoyang Sports Centre is a multi-use stadium in Beijing, China. It is currently used mostly for athletics matches. The stadium is able to hold 8,000 people and was opened in 2003. It hosted the events for the 2006 IAAF World Junior Championships in Athletics. It is the home ground of Beijing Baxy F.C.
