The Jin River, whose upper course is labeled on many maps as Xixi (Chinese: 西溪; literally "Western Creek") It originates in the Daiyun Mountains, and flows in the general southeastern direction, for 180 kilometres into the Quanzhou Bay of the Taiwan Strait.
