Zhangzhou Railway Station is the main train station of Zhangzhou metropolitan area. It is located in Hongtang Village (洪塘村) of Longhai City, about 10 km south of downtown Zhangzhou. Jiulong River
The Jiulong River or Jiulong Jiang is the largest river in southern Fujian, and the second largest in the province. Like all Fujian rivers but one, it flows into the Taiwan Strait. With a length of 258 kilometres and a basin of 14,700 square kilometres, its furthest origin—the north branch beixi (北溪)-- is within the municipality of Longyan; the west branch xixi (西溪), almost as long, flows from Zhangzhou's Pinghe County.
