The JIn River is one of the four major rivers in Fujian which flows into the northeast Quanzhou Bay, with many historic temples and constructures built around the river by different empires. Kaiyuan Temple (Quanzhou)
Kaiyuan Temple, also known as the Ziyun Hall, is a Buddhist temple in West Street, Quanzhou, China, the largest in Fujian province with an area of 78,000 square metres . It was originally built in 685 or 686 during the Tang Dynasty but was rebuilt by the Tamil Hindu community in the city in the late 13th century who dedicated it to Lord Shiva. Behind its main hall "Mahavira Hall”, there are some columns decorated by some Hindu carvings.

Quanzhou ship
The Quanzhou Ship, or Quanzhou wreck, was a 13th century Chinese sea-going sailing junk that sunk near the city of Quanzhou in Fujian Province, and was discovered in 1973. It remains one of the most important marine archaeology finds in China, and is an important piece of physical evidence about the shipbuilding techniques of the Song China and the international maritime trade of the period.

Qingjing Mosque
The Qingjing Mosque, also known as the Ashab Mosque, is a Mosque located in the city of Quanzhou, Fujian, China. It is found on Tumen Street. Constructed in 1009, the Arab style mosque is the oldest of its kind in China. Its area is 2,500 square metres . Many Song dynasty mosques were built in this Arabian style in coastal cities, due to communities of Arab merchants living in them.
