Jiulong River

The Jiulong River or Jiulong Jiang is the largest river in southern Fujian, and the second largest in the province. Like all Fujian rivers but one, it flows into the Taiwan Strait. With a length of 258 kilometres and a basin of 14,700 square kilometres, its furthest origin—the north branch beixi (北溪)-- is within the municipality of Longyan; the west branch xixi (西溪), almost as long, flows from Zhangzhou's Pinghe County.

Xiamen International School

The school was established in August 1997 and is located in the southern coast of China in Fujian Province, and is considered the most prestigious bilingual school there.
