Huaqiao University

Huaqiao University is a national university located in Xiamen and Quanzhou, Fujian province, China. Huaqiao University was founded in 1960, with support from the late Chinese premier and historical figure Zhou Enlai, for students of overseas Chinese backgrounds to pursue tertiary education in their ancestral homelands. Quanzhou Sports Center

Quanzhou ship

The Quanzhou Ship, or Quanzhou wreck, was a 13th century Chinese sea-going sailing junk that sunk near the city of Quanzhou in Fujian Province, and was discovered in 1973. It remains one of the most important marine archaeology finds in China, and is an important piece of physical evidence about the shipbuilding techniques of the Song China and the international maritime trade of the period.

Kaiyuan Temple (Quanzhou)

Kaiyuan Temple, also known as the Ziyun Hall, is a Buddhist temple in West Street, Quanzhou, China, the largest in Fujian province with an area of 78,000 square metres . It was originally built in 685 or 686 during the Tang Dynasty but was rebuilt by the Tamil Hindu community in the city in the late 13th century who dedicated it to Lord Shiva. Behind its main hall "Mahavira Hall”, there are some columns decorated by some Hindu carvings.
