Beijing Huajia University

Beijing Huajia University is a university in Huairou District, Beijing, founded in 1985 as Beijing Zhongshan University by the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Guomindang (民革中央). In June 2010, they named Korean actress Jang Na-ra as an associate professor.

Beijing Jockey Club

Beijing Jockey Club (BJC) locates in the TongZhou District of Beijing, covering an area of 1.6 square kilometres. It was one of the biggest international standard horse-racing clubs in Asia. In 2001, with the approval of the state government, the club embarked on thorougbred racing as a major business. The club has bred over 2,000 thoroughbred horses. However, the TongZhou (Tongshun) racecourse was shut down on 23 October 2005. In the following month, over 600 horses were destroyed.

Tungchow Mutiny

The Tungchow Mutiny, sometimes referred to as the Tōngzhōu Incident, was an assault on Japanese civilians and troops by East Hopei Army in Tōngzhōu, China on 29 July 1937 shortly after the Marco Polo Bridge Incident that marked the official beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War. In early 1937, Tōngzhōu was capital of the East Hopei Government, a Japanese puppet state controlling the strategic eastern district of Beijing.

East Hebei Autonomous Council

The East Hebei Autonomous Council, also known as the East Ji Autonomous Council and the East Hopei Autonomous Anti-Communist Council, was a short-lived late-1930s Japanese puppet state in northern China.
