Luquan, Hebei

Luquan, formerly Huolu County (获鹿县), is a county-level city in southwestern Hebei province, China. Luquan lies in the foothills of the Taihang Mountains and is around 17 kilometres west of the provincial capital Shijiazhuang, which administers Luquan. Huolu (local pronunciation Huailu) town is the urban center of the city.

Baodu Zhai

Baodu Zhai, or Baodu Village, is an ancient fortified hilltop settlement located about 16 km from Shijiazhuang, China. It is located on top of Baodu Mountain, which is said to resemble a reclining Buddha. According to legend, the Han dynasty commander Han Xin ambushed 2000 soldiers at the site, and in the Wei dynasty, an uprising by Ge Rong forced local villagers to flee to the mountain carrying their calves, hence the name "Baodu" ("bao" means "to carry" and "du" means "calf").

Shijiazhuang North Railway Station

The Shijiazhuang North Railway Station is one of the passenger railway stations in Shijiazhuang, the capital of the Hebei Province of the People's Republic of China. It serves the east-west railway corridor passing through the city, i.e. the Shiji Passenger Railway and the (future) Shitai Passenger Railway, as well as these lines' original (non-high-speed) predecessors. Shijiazhuang North is a smaller station than the city's main station, the Shijiazhuang Railway Station.
