Junshan Island

Dongting Lake Bridge

The Dongting Lake Bridge is a bridge with cable-stayed bridge section over Dongting Lake in northeastern Hunan Province, China. The bridge was completed in 2002 at a cost of $920 million. Cable-stayed section consists of three tower supporting a center spans of 310 m each and two identical side spans of 130 m each.

Yueyang Tower

Yueyang Tower is an ancient Chinese tower in Yueyang, Hunan Province, on the shore of Lake Dongting. Alongside the Pavilion of Prince Teng and Yellow Crane Tower, it is one of the Three Great Towers of Jiangnan.

Yueyang

Yueyang is a prefecture-level city at the northeastern corner of Hunan province, South Central China, on the southern shores of Dongting Lake. The Yueyang metropolitan area occupies 14,896 km². and the city proper occupies 304 km². The population is 5,477,911 at the 2010 census whom 571,670 live in the built up area made of Yueyanglou District. The city's most famous attraction is the Yueyang Tower (岳阳楼 Yuèyánglóu).
