Liling

Liling (醴陵) is a county-level city in the eastern part of Hunan province of the People's Republic of China. Liling is about 8 kilometres from Jiangxi province and is south of Hunan's capital, Changsha. Liling has an area of 2,157 square kilometres and a population of about 1,020,000. Liling is famous for its traditional porcelain and firework industries. The "Chairman Mao" porcelain produced in Liling are used as gifts for presidents.
