Grand Buddha at Ling Shan

The Grand Buddha is located at the south of the Longshan Mountain, near Mashan, town of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China. It is one of the largest Buddha statues in China and also in the world. At more than 88 metres high, the Grand Buddha at Ling Shan is a bronze Sakyamuni standing Buddha outdoor, weighing over 700 tons. It was completed in the end of 1996. In 2008, a "Five-signets" Palace and a Brahma Palace were built south-east of the grand buddha statue.

Yuantouzhu

Yuantouzhu is a peninsula which lies on the northwestern shore of Lake Tai, near Wuxi in China's Jiangsu province. Yuantouzhu, or "Turtle Head Isle" in English (so called because its shape resembles a turtle's head), is a popular scenic tourist region. Tourist ferries leave from Yuantouzhu to the Sanshan Islands (三山岛), which were opened to tourists in the mid-1980s.

The Plum Garden

The Chinese Plum Garden is a botanical garden on Lake Tai in Jiangsu, China. It is most prominent in spring when 4000 fruit trees blossom in the park. Rong's Plum Garden, often referred as "The Plum Garden", is most famous for its many types of old plum trees, newly imported and planted Denmark tulips, as well as the old mansions of the Rongs family in Eastern China. It is located in the west part of Wuxi city, Jiangsu province, China.

Liyuan (garden)

Liyuan garden is a garden on the shore of Li Lake. It was named after Fan Li, a senior official of the state of Yue who retired to his hometown after defeating the state of Wu. One day he went boating on what was then called Wuli Lake with one of the most beautiful women in ancient China named Xi Shi. Afterwards he decided to name the lake after himself, calling it Li Lake. The garden built on the shore of Li Lake was called Liyuan Garden.
