Shihu Lake
Shihu Lake (Chinese: 石湖, literally Stone Lake) is a fresh water lake located in southeast of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. It is closed to Shangfang Mountain (上方山), which is a national forest park of China, and it is about 4.5 kilometers away from urban area of Suzhou. The most famous spot of it is "Shihu Lake String of moon" (石湖串月) in August 17 of Chinese calendar, when nine reflections of moon in a line appears on the lake. Shihu Lake was a bay of Taihu Lake in ancient times.
