Pan Gate

Pan Gate, Pan Men, Panmen or Panmen Gate is a famous historical landmark in Suzhou, China. It is located on the south-west corner of the Main Canal or encircling canal of Suzhou. Originally built during the Warring States Period in the state of Wu, historians estimate it to be around 2,500 years old. It is now part of the Pan Gate Scenic Area. It is known for the "three landmarks of Pan Gate".

Suzhou High School

Suzhou High School of Jiangsu Province, commonly known as Suzhou High School, is a famous high school in China, with a history of about one thousand years. In the year 1035, the Northern Song politician, writer Fan Zhongyan founded the predecessor of Suzhou High school, Suzhou Prefecture School (苏州府学). It is recorded that, "Suzhou Prefecture School is the history of the Song Dynasty where the largest government-run institutions, known as the first South East School House.
