Pukou District

Pukou, Jiangsu, China a district in the City of Nanjing which lies northwest across the Yangtze River from downtown Nanjing. The district was formerly the southern terminus of the Tianjin-Pukou Railway; railcars had to be ferried across the river until it was bridged in 1968.

Nanjing North Railway Station

Nanjing North Railway Station is a railway station in Nanjing's Pukou District which was built in 1914. Located near the northern shore of the Yangtze River, it was a busy station because people had to get off the train and cross Yangtze River by ferry, and to resume thir journey from the Nanjing West Railway Station on the southern bank of the river. After Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge was built, the station use declined; presently, it has no passenger service.

Qinhuai River

The Qinhuai River (秦淮河) is the biggest river in Nanjing. It's also the birthplace of the age-old Nanjing culture. As such, it's called "Nanjing's mother river". It is the "life blood" of the city. Qinhuai River is so fascinating that it captures the imaginations of people both at home and abroad. The Qinhuai River is divided into inner and outer rivers. Today, the scenic belt along the Qinhuai River develops with the Confucius Temple at the center and the river serving as a bond.

Nanjing Olympic Sports Center

The Nanjing Olympic Sports Center is located in Nanjing Hexi New City, covers an area of 89.6 hectares, with a total construction area of about 401,000 square meters.
