Jiangning District

Jiangning District is an administrative district in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. The District has a population of 760,000 and an area of 1600 square kilometers. It includes southern and south-eastern suburbs of Nanjing. Jiangning Development Zone is located in this district. It has a population of 210,000. The Zone was approved on February 2nd 1997 to be a national-level high and new technology industry development zone.

Third Nanjing Yangtze Bridge

The Third Nanjing Yangtze Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge located in Nanjing, China. It is the third crossing of the Yangtze River at Nanjing. The main span measure 648 meters. The cable-stayed portion is just a part of the 4.7 kilometers of the complete bridge. Constructed in slightly more than two years at a cost of $490 million, this bridge features dual 215 meters towers. Nanjing is an important harbour in China and the zone needs communicate an important number of trucks.
