Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge

The Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge is a double-decked road-rail truss bridge across the Yangtze River between Pukou and Xiaguan in Nanjing, China. Its upper deck is part of China National Highway 104, spanning 4,588 metres. Its lower deck is a 6,772-metre-long double-track railway and completes the Beijing-Shanghai Railway, which had been divided by the Yangtze for decades. Its right bridge consists of 9 piers, with the maximal span of 160 metres and the total length of 1576 metres.

Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology

Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, formerly the Meteorology College of Nanjing University, was established in 1960 by the China Meteorological Administration, then changed the name into Nanjing Institute of Meteorology in May, 1963. NUIST is the oldest institution of higher learning of meteorology science in China. The administration of NUIST handed over from China Meteorological Administration to Jiangsu province in February, 2000.

Nanjing West Railway Station

Nanjing West Railway Station is a railway station in Nanjing, China. Originally named Nanjing Railway Station, it was first opened in 1908. as the end point of the Shanghai-Nanjing Railway (a section of the Beijing–Shanghai Railway). Later, it also became the starting point of the Nanjing-Tongling Railway.

Jinghai Temple

Jinghai Temple is a 15 century temple in the southwest of Shizi Mountain in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. It was constructed to recognize the contribution of Zheng He’s voyage by the emperor in Ming Dynasty. In 1842, China’s first unequal treaty Treaty of Nanking was discussed in the temple. It was devastated in the Taiping Rebellion and the Second Sino-Japanese War. In 1988, the People’s Government of Nanjing rebuilt the temple at its original site.
