Danyang Railway Station

Danyang Railway Station is a railway station on the Jinghu and Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity railways. The station is located in Danyang City, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, China. "Danyang Railway Station" now refers to two separate, adjacent, but unconnected stations that are situated on either side of parallel regular and high-speed tracks.

Danyang, Jiangsu

Danyang is a county-level city administered by Zhenjiang in Jiangsu Province, in the People's Republic of China. However, it is actually located about halfway between Zhenjiang and Changzhou, and is easier to reach from Changzhou than Zhenjiang. During the Southern Dynasties it was the home town of the royal families of both the Southern Qi and Liang Dynasties. As a result, many of the emperors and princes of these royal families were buried here in elaborate tombs.

Dantu District

Dantu is a district under the jurisdiction of Zhenjiang in Jiangsu Province. There are two islands that belong to Dantu, in addition to the Yangtze River at the north it has a town. It is bordered to the east by the Jiajiang neighborhood in Yangzhong. To the south-east lies Danyang and to the west is Jurong. The Yangtze River borders Dantu to the north. The district covers an area of 748.8 square kilometers and as of 2003 had a population of 370,000. The postal code for Dantu is 212100.
