Gaomin Temple

Gaomin Temple is a Buddhist Temple in Hanjiang District of Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province of China. During the Qing Dynasty, it was considered one of the eight great temples of Yangzhou. The temple is situated in a semi-rural setting about 7 km south of downtown Yangzhou, on the western shore of the Old Channel of the Grand Canal of China, just south of its junction with the Yizheng-Yangzhou Canal.

Jiangwang Subdistrict

"JiangWang"(Chinese:蒋王)subdistrict is located in the western suburbs of Yangzhou. It covers a total area of 13.6 square kilometers, including four village resident committees, a neighborhood, a community. The total population is more than 16,000 people. In recent years, the government of Jiangwang Subdistrict has aimed to develop and accelerate the economy, which intends to make people’s living standard grow faster and faster.

Runzhou District

Runzhou is a district of the city of Zhenjiang in Jiangsu Province. To the east of Runzhou lies the Grand Canal and Jingkou district with Zhenjiang New District to the souheast. The district has an area of 132.68 km. By the end of 2004, the total population was 237,100 people.

Runyang Bridge

The Runyang Bridge is a large bridge complex that crosses the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province, China, downstream of Nanjing. The complex consists of two major bridges that link Zhenjiang on the south bank of the river and Yangzhou on the north. The bridge is part of the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway. The south bridge is a suspension bridge with a main span of 1,490 metres . Upon its completion in 2005 it became the third longest suspension bridge span in the world and the largest in China.

Hehuachi Park

Hehuachi Park is a small park in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, China. The park's centerpiece is the Hehuachi, or Lotus Pond. Hehuachi Park's history can be traced back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The park plays a important role in the daily life of Yangzhou people, providing a quiet environment for people's recreation. The park is open to visitors free of charge.
