Yucheng Postal Stop

Yucheng Postal Stop, also called Yucheng Post is located in the Postal Lane outside the South Gate of Gaoyou, Jiangsu, China, west of the Grand Canal. It is currently the largest, and most completely preserved, ancient courier station in China, where couriers changed horses and rested. The stop has been listed in the fourth group of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units since 1996. The Postal Stop was built in the 8th year of the Hongwu Reign (1375 A.D.).

Jiangsu

Jiangsu is an eastern coastal province of the People's Republic of China. The name comes from jiang, short for the city of Jiangning, and su, for the city of Suzhou. The abbreviation for this province is "苏" (sū), the second character of its name. Jiangdu District

Jiangdu District is a district of the prefecture-level city of Yangzhou in Jiangsu province, China. It was a county-level city under the administration of Yangzhou until November 2011, when it was converted into a district.
