Kaiyuan, Liaoning
Kaiyuan is a county-level city in the northeast of Liaoning Province in Northeast China. It is under the administration of Tieling City, which lies 33 kilometres to the southwest. Kaiyuan was the birthplace of Sheng Shicai (1897–1970), was a Chinese warlord who ruled Xinjiang from 1933 to 1944.
