Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility

The Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility is a synchrotron in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. It is in a building with a futuristic snail-shaped roof, located in an eighteen-hectare campus at Shanghai National Synchrotron Radiation Centre, on the Zhang-Jiang High-Tech Abstract Park in Pudong.

Nanhui District

Nanhui District, formerly Nanhui County, was a district of Shanghai until it was merged into Pudong New Area in May 2009. It had a land area of about 809.5 km² and a 59.5-kilometer coastline. The population of Nanhui was 975,017 as of August 2006. On May 6, 2009, it was announced that the State Council of China had approved the proposal to merge Nanhui District into Pudong.

Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Station

Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park is the name of a station on Line 2 of the Shanghai Metro. The station had been the line's eastern terminus for more than 9 years, before the extension to Guanglan Road entered operation. The present underground station, which replaced the old above-ground station, entered service on February 24, 2010.

Shanghai Maglev Train

The Shanghai Maglev Train or Shanghai Transrapid (Chinese: 上海磁浮示范运营线; literally "Shanghai Maglev Demonstration Operation Line") is a magnetic levitation train, or maglev line that operates in Shanghai, China. It is the first commercially operated high-speed magnetic levitation line in the world and only the third Maglev line to be operated.

Shanghai New International Expo Center

The Shanghai New International Expo Centre is an exhibition center in Shanghai, China. It hosts a large number of exhibitions, including the Shanghai Motor Show. It has also hosted the 2002 Tennis Masters Cup, where one of the halls was temporarily converted into a tennis court. With more than 90 exhibitions per year and a turnover rate of 32 (2011), SNIEC is one of the world's most successful exhibition venues.
