Chenggong District

Chenggong District is a city district under the jurisdiction of Kunming Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China. Chenggong, formerly a county and situated on east bank of the Dian Lake, had its status changed to a district of Kunming in 2011. Chenggong is the chief zone for the expansion of the city of Kunming, almost a 20 minute drive away. It is the site of the new Kunming City Hall, and new campuses for Yunnan University and Yunnan Normal University.

Yangzong Lake

Yangzonghai Lake is located between Yiliang County, Chenggong District and Chengjiang County, 45 kilometers east of Kunming City in Yunnan Province, China. Kunming Wujiaba International Airport

Kunming Wujiaba International Airport was the main airport serving Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, China. It is located 4 km south-east of metropolitan Kunming. Originally built in 1923, the airport had been renovated numerous times into a modern facility before closing on June 28, 2012. It was a major hub for China Eastern Airlines, Kunming Airlines, and Lucky Air. The airport was replaced by the new Kunming Changshui International Airport.

Dian Lake

Dian Lake, Dianchi Lake or Kunming Lake is a large inter-land lake located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau close to Kunming, Yunnan, China. Its nickname is "Sparkling Pearl Embedded in a Highland," and it was the model for the Kunming Lake in the Summer Palace in Beijing. It is a freshwater fault lake at 1,886.5 m above sea level. The lake covers 298 km . It is 39 km long from north to south, and the average depth is 4.4 m .
