Kunming Wujiaba International Airport

Kunming Wujiaba International Airport was the main airport serving Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, China. It is located 4 km south-east of metropolitan Kunming. Originally built in 1923, the airport had been renovated numerous times into a modern facility before closing on June 28, 2012. It was a major hub for China Eastern Airlines, Kunming Airlines, and Lucky Air. The airport was replaced by the new Kunming Changshui International Airport.

Dian Lake

Dian Lake, Dianchi Lake or Kunming Lake is a large inter-land lake located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau close to Kunming, Yunnan, China. Its nickname is "Sparkling Pearl Embedded in a Highland," and it was the model for the Kunming Lake in the Summer Palace in Beijing. It is a freshwater fault lake at 1,886.5 m above sea level. The lake covers 298 km . It is 39 km long from north to south, and the average depth is 4.4 m .

Kunming Tuodong Sports Center

Kunming Tuodong Sports Center is a multi-purpose stadium in Kunming, China. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 40,000 people. Tuodong Sports Center is located in downtown center of Kunming City at the elevation of 1,891m and occupying 5.4 ha. Eastern and Western Pagodas

The Eastern and Western Pagodas (东寺塔与西寺塔; Dongsi Ta / Xisi Ta) are two pagodas, only about 200 metres apart, in the southern part of Kunming, Yunnan, China. Also known as the Pagoda of the East Temple and the Pagoda of the West Temple, they were constructed in the late eighth or early ninth century AD, under the rule of the Kingdom of Nanzhao.
