Xiaoshan District

Xiaoshan District, a district of the city of Hangzhou, located in Zhejiang province in China. Xiaoshan was formerly a city in its own right, across the Qiantang River from the older parts of Hangzhou, but was absorbed in recent years by its much larger neighbor and made into an administrative district of Hangzhou. Hangzhou's international airport, Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, is located here.

Hangzhou Sports Park Stadium

Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, part of the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center, is a multi-use stadium in Hangzhou, China, that is under construction. Once completed in 2013, it will be used mostly for football matches. The stadium was designed with a capacity of 80,000 spectators.

Grand Canal (China)

The Grand Canal, also known as the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, is the longest canal or artificial river in the world (1,400 miles long). Starting at Beijing, it passes through Tianjin and the provinces of Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang to the city of Hangzhou linking the Yellow River and Yangtze River. The oldest parts of the canal date back to the 5th century BC, although the various sections were finally combined during the Sui Dynasty (581–618 AD).
