Filadelfia de Guanacaste

Filadelfia is the first district and main city of Carrillo in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This district has 7,814 inhabitants and 125.01 km². It was declared an archaeological city because of all the indigenous cemeteries found near the Tempisque River. The town was formerly known as Siete Cueros. It was originally named for the abundance of the trees with this name.

Bagaces (canton)

Bagaces is the fourth canton in the province of Guanacaste in Costa Rica. The canton covers an area of 1,273.49 km², and has a population of 17,087. Its capital city is also called Bagaces. The Río Salto on the west and Río Tenorio on the east delineate this canton, with the Río Tempisque as the southern border and the northern border high in the Cordillera de Guanacaste. Miravalles Volcano sits near that border's midway point.

Museo de Sabanero

The Museo de Sabanero is a museum in Liberia, Costa Rica. The museum focuses on cowboy culture in the country. It is located in the Casa de Culture, a colonial-era house. The museum has a notable collection of lassos and saddleware (including many decorated saddles), spurs, and lanterns, given that the majority of Guanacastecos make a living as cowboys with their Brahma cattle.
