Alajuelita (canton)

Alajuelita is the name of the 10th canton in the province of San José in Costa Rica. The canton covers an area of 21.17 km², and has a population of 75,418. The capital city of the canton is Alajuelita. The odd-shaped canton reaches southwest from the suburbs of the national capital city of San José. It is delineated by the Río Tiribí on the northeast, Río Cañas on the east, Río Poás on the southeast, and the Cerros de Escazú at it far southwestern end.

Escazú (canton)

Escazú is the name of the second canton in the province of San José in Costa Rica. The canton covers an area of 34.49 km². The canton lies west to San José Canton and its whole territory is part of San José Metropolitan Area Although the canton was one of the earliest established in the country, as the metropolitan area has expanded Escazú has become a suburban area on the west side of the national capital city of San José. It is delineated by the Río Tiribí on its northern border.

Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica (2011)

Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica (National Stadium of Costa Rica) is a multi-purpose stadium in La Sabana, San José, Costa Rica. It is the first modern sport and event arena to be built in Central America. The stadium was completed in 2011 and officially opened its doors to the public on Saturday, March 26 of that same year. The stadium replaces the original National Stadium.
