Brna

Brna is a village on the southern shores of the island of Korčula in Croatia, close to the village of Smokvica, as well as Prižba and Priscapac. Korcula is part of the Dalmatian coast and it belongs to the Dubrovnik-Neretva county. Four kilometres south-west from the town of Smokvica, on the south of the island of Korčula, there is the locality of Brna, situated in the very beautiful Bay of Brna.

Bay of Istruga

Bay of Istruga is situated on south part of the Island of Korčula, near the village of Brna. The Bay of Istruga is 500 metres long and 150 metres wide. In the middle of the bay there is a pile of curative mud, called "liman," which helps cure rheumatic ailments. The whole area is surrounded by evergreen forests and Mediterranean vegetation which could help people suffering from asthma.

Smokvica

Smokvica is a village on the island of Korčula and a municipality in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County in Croatia. It has a population of 1,210 (census 2001), in which the absolute majority are Croats (98%). Smokvica is located in the centre of the island of Korcula, about 4 kilometers west of Čara, 13 kilometers east of Blato and 4 kilometers north from Brna. It is known as the birthplace of one of the best-known Croatian wines - Pošip.

Potirna

Potirna is a village on the island of Korčula in Croatia. Korcula is part of the Dalmatian coast and it belongs to the Dubrovnik-Neretva county. Potirna is part of the Municipality of Blato. According to the census in 2001, the village had a population of 21. Potirna evolved in the mid-19th century around several fertile fields on the far west end of the island. There are archeological remains of Gradine in Potirna, as well ancient Greek artifacts.

Čara

Čara is a village on the island of Korčula in Croatia. Korčula the island, is part of the Dalmatian coast and it belongs to the Dubrovnik-Neretva county. It has a population of 566 residents. The village is situated twenty-five kilometers west of the old town of Korčula and is just above a field Čarsko Polje. In the center of the village is the parish church of St Peter, which was built in the 16th century.
