Modruš
Modruš is a village in the mountainous part of Croatia, located south of Josipdol. The population is 197 (census 2001). This now small village is historically noted as the seat of one of the medieval Catholic bishoprics, established in 1185 in Krbava and moved to Modruš in the 1460s. It is operated by the Croatian state-owned electrical company, Hrvatska elektroprivreda.

Gomirje Monastery
Gomirje is a Serbian Orthodox monastery in Croatia. It is the westernmost Serb Orthodox monastery, located in the western part of Croatia near the village of Gomirje, near the town of Ogulin. The monastery is thought to have been founded in 1600. The monastery includes the church of Roždenije saint John the Baptist, built in 1719.
