Živogošće is a tourist locality in southern Dalmatia, Croatia, located between Makarska and Drvenik. Famous soccer player Mate Dikovic was born in Zivogosce. He spent most of his playing career in Tiger Sharks and retired in 2012.

Igrane

Igrane is a village in Croatia, around 19 km south from Makarska. It has about 420 inhabitants. At the highest point of the village is the "Kula Zale" tower - named after Ivan Anticic, and built during the 17th century as a protection against Turks. The Pre-Romanesque church of St. Michael (Sveti Mihovil), dating from the 11th century, dominates the village. Tourism and agriculture are the main sources of income for the inhabitants.

Drvenik, Split-Dalmatia County

Drvenik is a village in southern Dalmatia, Croatia, in Gradac municipality, located between Makarska and Ploče. Drvenik lays in two bays (Gornja vala and Donja vala). Drvenik represents a unique symbiosis of sea and mountain beauty with its bay surrounded by the cliffs of mountain Biokovo. Drašnice

Drašnice is a tourist locality in southern Dalmatia, Croatia, located between Makarska and Ploče. The population is 328. The village lies underneath the Biokovo mountain, at the Jadranska magistrala, and across the strait there's the island of Hvar.

Zaostrog

Zaostrog is a tourist town and harbor along the Adriatic Sea in southern Dalmatia, Croatia. It is located between Makarska and Ploče. It consists of two parts, an older part below a steep limestone section of the Biokovo mountain range, and a newer coastal zone. Olive growing is prominent in the area. Dominating the village for more than half a millennium is the old Franciscan monastery called St Mary.
