Veleň

For the village in the Czech Republic, see Veleň. Velen is a municipality in the district Borken, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany with about 12,000 citizens. It consists of the two settlements of Velen and Ramsdorf and the four rural regions Ostendorf-Krueckling, Holthausen-Barnsfeld, Nordvelen and Waldvelen. In 2003 the city received the title "staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort" (recreation village approved by the state) from the regional president. Since August 2012 it is a town.

Rajská zahrada

Rajská zahrada is a Prague Metro station on Line B. It was opened in 1998. The station was designed by Patrik Kotas. It has an unorthodox platform design, where trains in each direction are on a different level with the westbound platform being directly above the eastbound track.

Letňany

Letňany was founded in 1307, and became part of Prague in 1968. Now it is part of the Prague 9 administrative district, form local government district of Prague 18 and its own cadastral area. The district has become one of the richest districts of Prague. There is a large shopping mall, "Obchodní centrum Letňany", with shopping area exceeding 125 000 m. Letňany was site of the aircraft industry, but the industry gradually declined and Letňany became a mostly residential district.
