Hrazany

Hrazany is a small village in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, which is situated 9 kilometres north direction near Milevsko in Písek District. It is composed of for parts - Dobrošov, Hrazany, Hrazánky a Klisinec. It has 280 residents. The name of the village has no clear origin, but it may be deduced from Czech word hráz (the dike). In the forest around village is stone field (protected by Czech law), a remnnant of the glacial age.

Zvíkovské Podhradí

Zvíkovské Podhradí is a small village in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has around 190 inhabitants. Medieval Zvíkov Castle lies next to the village and gave it its name (which means the area under Zvíkov castle).

The Podolsko Bridge is an arch bridge that spans the Vltava between Podolsko and Temešvár in Písek District, Czech Republic. Otava (river)

The Otava is a river in West and South Bohemia, Czech Republic. It is 112 kilometres long and is a left tributary of the Vltava. The river flows through several towns, including Sušice, Strakonice and Písek. The river's name is of Celtic origin. It is a popular river for water sports. The local dialect of Prachens also uses the name "Wotāva".
