Holašovice

Holašovice (Holaschowitz) is a small historic village located in the south of the Czech Republic, 15 kilometres west of České Budějovice. Village belongs to the municipality Jankov. Kleť

The Kleť is a mountain located in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, near the town of Český Krumlov. It rises 1,084 metres above sea level, and on a clear day affords a view of the Alps to the South. Kleť Observatory is located on the southern side of the mountain.

Kleť Observatory

Kleť Observatory (Hvězdárna Kleť) is an astronomical observatory in the Czech Republic. It is situated in South Bohemia, south of the summit of Mount Kleť, near the town of České Budějovice. Constructed in 1957, the observatory is at an altitude of 1070 meters (3510 feet) and has around 150 clear nights per year.
