Holašovice

Holašovice (Holaschowitz) is a small historic village located in the south of the Czech Republic, 15 kilometres west of České Budějovice. Village belongs to the municipality Jankov. To the south lies the protected landscape area of Blanský Forest. The village was deserted after the Second World War, allowing its medieval plan and vernacular buildings in the South Bohemian Folk or Rural Baroque style to remain intact.

Zliv

Zliv is a town north west of České Budějovice in the South Bohemian Region, Czech Republic. Its coordinates are (50° 22' 0N, 15° 13' 60E) with an altitude of 400 meters. The first recorded reference to Zliv dates back to 1409. By the end of the 19th century the economic expansion of the village began to take place as local factories started manufacturing ceramic material and fireproof goods.

Planá (České Budějovice District)

Planá is a village in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has around 250 inhabitants. First written mention about the settlement is from year 1259. During 1687–1849 and 1868–1990 the village was administrative part of nearby city České Budějovice. Military airport (built in 1939) is located on area of the village.

Hluboká Castle

The Hluboká Castle is situated in Hluboká nad Vltavou and considered one of the most beautiful castles of the Czech Republic. In the second half of the 13th century a gothic castle was built at the site. During its history it was rebuilt several times. It was first expanded during the Renaissance period, then rebuilt into a Baroque castle at the order of Adam Franz von Schwarzenberg in the beginning of the 18th century.
