Jordán Pond
Jordán Pond is a pond inside city Tábor, South Bohemian Region, the Czech Republic. Built in 1492 it is the oldest dam on area of the Czech Republic. The pond was created by creating earth dam across the Košínský brook (Košínský potok, also known as Tismenice) with purpose to provide drinking water for town inhabitants. Later, it was used for aquaculture and in modern era as a place of recreation.
