Theresienstadt concentration camp

Theresienstadt concentration camp, also referred to as Theresienstadt Ghetto, was established by the SS during World War II in the fortress and garrison city of Terezín (German name Theresienstadt), located in what is now the Czech Republic. Úštěk Synagogue

The Úštěk Synagogue is a synagogue in the small town of Úštěk, located in the northern part of the Czech Republic. The modest, Baroque synagogue of sandstone from a nearby quarry. This current structure was built using shortly after a 1793 fire that destroyed the earlier building. It was in use until the Second World War.

Račice, Czech Republic

Račice is a village in Ústí nad Labem Region, Czech Republic. It is located 8 km northeast of Roudnice nad Labem or 41 km north of Prague and has a population of 308. It is the major rowing and flatwater canoeing venue in the Czech Republic.
