The Battle of Kafr-el-Dawwar was a conflict during the Second Anglo-Egyptian War near Kafr el-Dawwar, Egypt. Orabi's forces were able to stop the British from advancing toward Cairo for five weeks. After this British forces shifted to the Suez canal to reach Cairo.
