El Chupadero

El Chupadero is a town in the municipality of Santa Rita, Chalatenango, El Salvador. Currently the town is used for agricultural purposes, but it does have houses in which people live. There are two main roads in El Chupadero, the first one leads to the town of Santa Rita, and the second leads to the other little town called Los Marines. The land where El Chupadero is located, is home to Enrique Lopez that was elected mayor for Santa Rita for multiple times.

San Marcos, Ocotepeque

San Marcos is a municipality in the Honduran department of Ocotepeque. This city of 17,000 people is in Western Honduras bordering Guatemala and El Salvador. It's located between the highest point in Honduras, Mount Meredon, and the Rio Grande and Suntulin Rivers. It was founded by Spanish and Belgian gold miners. San Marcos de Ocotepeque is a bustle of cultural activity ranging from plays to literary events.

Chalatenango Department

Chalatenango is a department of El Salvador, located in the northwest of the country. The capital is the city of Chalatenango. The Chalatenango Department encompasses 2,017 km² and contains more than 220,000 inhabitants. Las Matras Archaeological Ruins contains the relics of prehistoric populations and caves in which rock writing is found. The "5 de Noviembre" Hydroelectric Dam is found in Chalatenango Department, near the border with Cabañas.

Cololaca

Cololaca is a municipality in the Honduran department of Lempira. Cololaca is one of the municipalities of the Lempira department. It is located more than 200 km away from Gracias. There is also an alternate way to go there, and that is taking a deviation in San Marcos de Ocotepeque. Taking this unpaved road takes about 30 minutes to Cololaca. The Government is currently working on paving the road from San Marcos de Ocotepeque to Cololaca.
