Menjarna Shenkora ("Menjar and Shenkora") is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. It is named in part after a historic district of Shewa, Menjar, which was the southernmost district of Shewa and near the location of the modern woreda.

Yelet Giorgis Church, Bulga

Yelet Giorgis Church is a church of over 2,500 members in Yelet, Bulga, Ethiopia. The church is dedicated to Saint George. The church body has been in existence since the 17th century. The first building, a traditional circular thatch roof church, burnt down in 1950. A modern, iron roof church was built in its place by Dejazmach Kidane Woldemedhin and dedicated in 1956.

Kembibit

Kembibit is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Semien Shewa Zone, Kembibit is bordered on the south by Berehna Aleltu, on the west by Wuchalena Jido, on the north by Abichuna Gne'a, and on the east by the Amhara Region. The administrative center of this woreda is Sheno; other towns in Kembibit include Hamus Gebeya, and Kotu.

Lake Basaka

Lake Basaka (Basaka Hayk in Amharic) is a lake in the Oromia Region of south-central Ethiopia. It is located in the Great Rift Valley at an elevation of 1,900 meters. According to a recent survey, Basaka has a surface area of 30 square kilometers and a maximum depth of 7 meters.
