Wereta
Wereta (also transliterated as Woreta) is a town in northern Ethiopia. Fogera
Fogera is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of northwest Ethiopia. Fogera is part of the Debub Gondar Zone. The district is bordered on the south by Dera, on the west by Lake Tana, on the north by the Reb which separates it from Kemekem, on the northeast by Ebenat, and on the east by Farta. Awra Amba
Awra Amba is an Ethiopian community of about 400 people, located 73 kilometres east of Bahir Dar in the Fogera woreda of Debub Gondar Zone. It was founded in 1980 with the goal of solving socio-economic problems through helping one another in an environment of egalitarianism—in marked contrast to the traditional norms of Amhara society.

Reb River
Reb River (also transliterated as Rib; Amharic "bottom, buttocks") is a river of north-central Ethiopia which empties into Lake Tana at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:12|2|N|37|35|E|region:ET_type:river|| |primary |name= }}. The river originates on the slopes of Mount Guna, and flows west through Kemekem woreda. It has no significant tributaries. R.E. Cheesman described the Reb in 1936 as bringing "down quantities of dark sand, and we passed banks of it deposited on the lake shore.

Alem Ber is a city located in northern part of Amhara state in Ethiopia. It is one of two cities in Fogera woreda. The population of Alem Ber and its surrounding mostly depends on Trade and Agriculture. The place also serves as source of butter, pepper and cereals which are exported to Debre Tabour and Worota. In addition, some part of the population depends on traditional industries.
