Munesa

Munesa is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Arsi Zone located in the Great Rift Valley, Munesa is bordered on the south and west by the Mirab Arsi Zone and Lake Langano, on the northwest by Ziway Dugda, on the north by Tiyo, on the northeast by Digeluna Tijo, and on the east by Bekoji. The administrative center of the woreda is Kersa; other towns in Munesa include Ego.

Karsa River

Negele Arsi

Located in the Mirab Arsi Zone of the Oromia Region on the paved highway north of Shashamane, this town has a longitude and latitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:7|21|N|38|42|E||| | |name= }} and an elevation of 2043 meters above sea level. It is the administrative center of Arsi Negele woreda.

Lake Langano

Langano is a lake in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia, exactly 200 kilometers by road south of the capital, Addis Ababa, on the border between the Misraq Shewa and Arsi Zones. The first European to record its existence, Oscar Neumann, records that it was also known as "Lake Kore". It is located to the east of Lake Abijatta in the Main Ethiopian Rift at an elevation of 1,585 meters.

Kersa, Arsi

Kersa is a town in southeastern Ethiopia. Located in the Arsi Zone of the Oromia Region, this town has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:07|32|N|38|59|E||| | |name= }} with an elevation of 2784 meters above sea level. It is the administrative center of Munesa woreda. According to the Oromia Regional government, this town currently has telephone and postal service, and is supplied with electricity for four hours a day.
