Enticho

Enticho is a town in northern Ethiopia. Located on the Inguya River in the Mehakelegnaw (Central) Zone of the Tigray Region, it has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:14|16|N|39|09|E||| |primary |name= }} with an elevation of 1964 meters above sea level. It is the administrative center of Enticho woreda. Enticho is the location where in 1 July 1889 that Fitawrari Dabbab Araya met Dejazmach Embaye.

Ganta Afeshum

Ganta Afeshum is one of the woredas in the Tigray Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Misraqawi Zone, Ganta Afeshum is bordered on the south by Hawzen, on the west by the Mehakelegnaw (Central) Zone, on the north by Gulomahda, and on the east by Saesi Tsaedaemba. Towns in Ganta Afeshum include Bizet. Town of Adigrat is surrounded by Ganta Afeshum. There are several local monolithic churches in this woreda, which include Mariyam Si'it and Samuel Mayaba (abandoned as of 1970).

Enticho (woreda)

Enticho (also known as Ahiferom) is one of woredas in the Tigray Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Mehakelegnaw Zone, Enticho is bordered on the south by Werie Lehe, on the southwest by Adwa, on the west by Mereb Lehe, on the north by Eritrea, and on the east by the Misraqawi (Eastern) Zone. The administrative center of this woreda is Enticho; other towns in Enticho include Edaga Arbi, and Gerhusernay. Ancient monastery of Debre Damo is also located in Enticho.

Debre Damo

Debre Damo is the name of a flat-topped mountain, or amba, and a 6th century monastery in northern Ethiopia. The mountain is a steeply rising plateau of trapezoidal shape, about 1000 by 400 meters in dimension. With a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:14|22|21|N|39|17|24|E|type:mountain |primary |name= }}, it sits at an elevation of 2216 meters above sea level. It is located west of Adigrat in the Mehakelegnaw Zone of the Tigray Region.
