Port Louis, Falkland Islands

Port Louis is a settlement on northeastern East Falkland. It was established by Louis de Bougainville in 1764 as the first French settlement on the islands, but was then transferred to Spain in 1767 and renamed Puerto Soledad (In Spanish, East Falkland is known as Isla Soledad).

Johnson's Harbour

Johnson's Harbour is a settlement on the north east coast of East Falkland in the Falkland Islands. It is on the shore of Berkeley Sound at the head of Chabot Creek on a bay also named Johnson's Harbour. It has a small store but the FIGAS only lands there for emergencies. Surrounding hills include North Lookout, Diamond Mountain and Hawk Hill.

Uranie Bay

Uranie Bay is in the north east of East Falkland on the south coast of Berkeley Sound. It is named after the ship Uranie It was one of the potential landing sites considered by British forces during the Falklands War, for the same reasons as Volunteer Point nearby. It was considered a good site for a direct assault, however it was heavily guarded by Argentine positions, unlike San Carlos Water It was also within range of the Exocet launches at Stanley and nearby it on Hooker Point.
