The Bordeaux Observatory is an astronomical observatory affiliated with the University of Bordeaux. Built in Floirac, France in 1893 its lenses were focused between +11 and +17 degrees declination. When in closed down in 1925 it had taken over 1260 plates (photographs).

The Église Sainte-Croix ("Church of the Holy Cross") is a Roman Catholic abbey church in Bordeaux, southern France. It is annexed to a Benedictine abbey founded in the 7th century, and was built in the late 11th-early 12th centuries. The façade is in Romanesque style. The church has a nave and four aisles, a transept with apses on each arm, and a polygonal apse. The nave is 39 m long, while the apse is 15.30 m high. The notable organ is from the 18th century.

Bordeaux-État or Bordeaux-Deschamps was a mainline railway station in the French city of Bordeaux. The station was at the terminus of the line from Paris of the CF de l'État. The station opened late on 1 August 1896 after years of building a line to compete with the PO's line also from Paris.

Basilica of St. Michael, Bordeaux
The Basilica of St. Michael, Bordeaux, is a Flamboyant Gothic church in Bordeaux, France, built between the end of 14th century and the 16th century. The pulpit represents Saint Michael slaying the dragon. The stained-glass windows were destroyed during the bombardment of 1940. The separate bell tower, which is 114 meters tall, was built in the 15th century. In 1881 a Gallo-Roman cemetery and catacombs were discovered under the tower. The church is a listed historical monument.
