Château de Montbrun

There is another Château de Montbrun, a hotel, near Tours in Pays de Loire. The Château de Montbrun is a castle in the commune of Dournazac in the Haute-Vienne département of France. The castle was built in the 12th and 15th centuries, and was restored in the late 19th. The castle stands within a deep valley. Tabataud Quarry

The Tabataud Quarry (sometimes also written Tabateaud) was situated in the northwestern French Massif Central. The quarry used to be mined for its granodiorite. The Tabataud Quarry was excavated along the left bank of the river Bandiat at an elevation of 165 meters, only about one kilometer southeast of Nontron town center. Nearby passes the D 707 from Nontron to Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière, from which it is easily accessible.
