Groussey
Groussey is a village in the commune Jullouville, in the Manche département of Normandy, France. It is located 600 m from the sea in the bay of Mont Saint-Michel. The nearest two villages are Carolles (to the south) and Bouillon (to the north). A coast road passes to the west (D911) from Carolles in the south through Edenville to Jullouville. Jullouville is a major seaside resort in the summer months. Groussey shares the same postal (zip) code as Jullouville, 50610.

Manoir de Brion
The Manoir de Brion, also known as the Château de Brion, is a former Benedictine priory of the abbey of Mont Saint-Michel, France. It is located near the village of Genêts, in Basse-Normandie, and was founded in 1137 by the abbot Bernard du Bec. Several kings and members of the royal court stayed at the Manoir de Brion while on pilgrimage to Mont Saint-Michel, including Charles VI in 1393, Louis XI in 1462 and Francis I of France in 1532.

Thar (river)
The Thar is a small river of France, in the administrative region Basse-Normandie, département de la Manche. It is only 25 km long, rising to the east of La Haye-Pesnel and emptying into the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, in the English Channel. In the Middle Ages the Thar formed the traditional boundary between the Cotentin to the north and the Avranchin to the south.

Tombelaine
Tombelaine is a small tidal island off the coast of Normandy in France. It lies a few kilometres north of Mont Saint-Michel. At low tide the island can be reached on foot (with a guide) from the coast of Cotentin, 3.5 km to the north-east, and from Mont Saint-Michel. The island lies just to the south of the course of the Sélune river, which has to be forded to access the island from Cotentin. The island is 250 metres by 150 metres, and 45 metres high. It is composed of granite.
