Herbularium du Morvan

The Herbularium du Morvan (500 m²), more formally known as the Herbularium du parc naturel régional du Morvan, is a botanical garden with arboretum located at the Maison du Parc in the Parc naturel régional du Morvan, Saint-Brisson, Nièvre, Bourgogne, France. It is open year-round; admission is free. The garden was established in 1987, inspired by medieval medicinal herb gardens but with a broader view encompassing plants native to the Morvan.

Abbey of la Madaleine, Vézelay

Vézelay Abbey (now known as Basilique Sainte-Marie-Madeleine) was a Benedictine and Cluniac monastery in Vézelay in the Yonne department in northern Burgundy, France. The Benedictine abbey church of Ste-Marie-Madeleine (or Basilica of St. Mary Magdalene), with its complicated program of imagery in sculpted capitals and portals, is one of the outstanding masterpieces of Burgundian Romanesque art and architecture, though much of its exterior sculpture was defaced during the French Revolution.
